Upon waking up after sleeping in Yanni's Rope Trick. I proceeded to get sick and puked up a nasty looking rug thing. Then a compulsive feeling over took me. Judas needed help bad and he wanted me to bring the cleric like people to help if I could. Although he didn't call them clerics he called them religious bitches or something to that affect.
After some more retching and me begging Valeska and Demona. It was my feeling that I shouldn't bring anyone else. We hopped on the rug and it teleported us to some distant place based on the fact that the mountains were different and there was some serious cold going on so much so it hurt. We were in a small seemingly abandoned village. We heard a loud roar in the distance. We headed for the closest door in hopes of changing into some more warm. We entered a small cottage and started changing into more cold type clothing when this huge nasty looking polar bear trudged into town. It quickly noticed us and battle ensued although I am not really sure if we could have avoided it. The cold seemed super natural and after we succeeded in killing the beast the cold subsided. I claimed a tooth for the victory.
The only evidence of other people were some fairly fresh horse tracks leaving town. We checked the one building that was locked and looting some food and other cold gear. We then headed out following the horse tracks.
A bit later we discovered a tent with a body in it. Judas was in some kind of healing coma. Then an odd object appeared and it was some kind of communication device created by Judas. He indicated that there was an altar not far from here with a sword in it that he needed. It was guarded by a bunch of undead that kept returning even after being destroyed.
We approached the place and a nasty battle begun. Slowly, we destroyed or turned them away. We reached the top of the hill and altar when a cloud of weapons formed to defend the altar. It seemed to have a random amount of attacks each round with various effectiveness. Eventually, I nearly died but Valeska (or maybe it was Demona) cast some sort of last second healing that resuscitated me. At this point most of my magic was gone but I had a few tricks left. Demona continued to hammer on the flailing weapons and Valeska continued to try shooting it as well. I cast Ray of Enfeeblement as one of my last semi-offensive spells helping reduce its damage in a major way. Finally, the thing collapse in a pile of worthless weapons. In the altar was a bastard sword. Valeska used her magic gloves of reading to find out more about the weapon and its previous owner.
(Matt needs to find his notes on this and add it here)
Some sort of orc dude was using it and gave it to a cleric of Demona's religion. The sword is CN I think is what she found out.
Next we returned to Judas and a large argument ensues revolving around giving Judas the sword. I decided giving Judas the sword was the best route to go. He had confided in me that he needs it to destroy a minion of Lord Soth that has some control over him but if we don't give it to him he will take it with force. I then stated to my friends that I am leaving if you don't come with me I will leave without you. This didn't go over very well. After a lot of arguing about trust and friendship, they agreed to leave the sword and teleport with me. Since I could only teleport once we traveled as far as possible. Little was said but Valeska decided to try without asking to suggest that I tell her everything that Judas said. It didn't work the first time. And after being somewhat annoyed that she would try this especially after having a big argument about trust and friendship without asking. I decided to prove to her that I was not lying and willingly let her use the spell on me.
In the long run I was forced by magic to help Judas and probably made some rather brash decisions that likely hurt my relationship with Valeska and Demona. Do I regret some of the decisions? Probably. Can I change what I did and said? No, I'll just move on like I have with every decision I have made so far in my some what crazy life.

After the nasty battle with the Hill Giant with a Beholder head and minions, we discovered a holding cell with a female human, male human, and a male dwarf (I guess I assumed it was male).
After some brief discussions we decided they weren't an illusion disguising vile beasts and were caravan merchants that were captured by the former residents, and were intended to be food for the beholder/giant. We continued to look for the goblin mage dude without luck. But Valeska and Fatoxhxj soon found some more orcs and gnolls coming out of a couple secret doors we had missed. Another battle started. Mostly gnolls until Yanni charged into a room that he saw the goblin wizard doing stuff in the fire place. He walked in and was nearly beheaded by two nasty looking Ogres. Orin jumped in and started melee with one and was nearly wiped out as well until I did some magiks, got him closer to Demona, and I showed the Ogre what a hedge mage can really do. Before that Yanni did a neat wall of force to prevent the other one from eating me alive. The battle was won but the goblin wizard escaped (or was it an illusion?).

Meanwhile Valeska and Fatoxhxj were trying to open the locked door to the main columned entrance room. Except Valeska had morphed into a nasty orc thing hoping to infiltrate the hoards of creatures she heard on the other side of the barred door. Eventually, we got the door opened and discovered that a large group of humanoids had fled out the front doors. We searched the other side of the dwarven keep and found the humanoid groups living area (In some old dwarven barracks). After discovering all the secret doors (I think) we moved the 3 caravan people up to that area and barricaded the front doors and other possible entrances but not before I took a peek outside and saw the goblin wizard, a nasty gnoll, and another hill giant beholder dude. Ugg.. the beholder dude tried to blast me after I saw them but I managed to escape unharmed.

We then headed up the stairs to a room with 4 dwarven statues in each corner, the floor was colored white and black, and some impressive double doors with a message above it saying something to the affect that dwarves are welcome but all others magic can not beat dwarven magic. Er. something like that.
We brought the dwarf up from the small group and had him look at it. He thought it was likely a floor trap and something else but was hesitant to open the doors for us. He returned to his friends.
So Valeska cast Alter self and became a rather decent looking dwarf and opened the doors. She was tied to a rope just in case the floor gave way and flying. Nothing. Next went Orin. Nothing happened so next went Yanni. Still nothing. Next was Demona. She got to the middle and the floor gave way as a small door in the ceiling just inside the double doors opened and this white globe came out and washed light over Yanni, Valeska, Orin, and Demona. It was soon discovered that it caused some kind of dispel magic cause many of their magic items were no longer functioning.
After a couple of climbing attempts, and hanging from the rope over the pit, Demona made it across. Valeska flew down to the bottom of the spiked poisoned pit, impaled herself, and recovered Demona's little ioun stone that wasn't floating any more.
Now we had a large pit to get Fatoxhxj and me across. After some debate I climbed across holding the rope, and Fatox jumped across, barely. He managed to grab the lip of the pit and climb his way up.
Now everyone being across the pit, Orin made it down a few sets of stairs that were trapped some with pressure plated spikes, and saws that were coated with a poison, and also that Sepia's Snake Sigil thing. At the bottom of the 10' wide stairway, we entered into a room with a throne on the far side, and some tapestries covering the walls. After we searched the room, we found a passageway behind the left tapestry. It looked to start winding down a natural tunnel. Hearing nothing, and having several combats and being fairly depleted of spells, Yanni threw out a rope trick and we climbed up to rest, reflect, level up, and plan the search for the pestle.
