Notable NPC's
- Cyrallin- very ancient religious fanatic of the Red moon God of Travel
- Lord Soth- Undead bad guy who manipulated us in the past and continues to today
- Hugby- Leaping Lyon innkeeper in Obtuska
- Breuhonii the Bregart- the last known person to have both the key and the pestle to control the Gate of Freedom. Used the gate to his advantage until the dwarves stole it from him and separated the items.
- Monastery of Cyrallin- Ancient monastery supposed contains the key for the Gate of Freedom dedicated to the Red Moon religion located in Secalky (or was it Nevesty)
- Gate of Freedom- Located deep in the Golden Hoard Mountains. A gateway into another world. 738 years ago the D'eth'tenth people banished 77 hideous vllians. Might be a connection to the world of shadow or Ravenloft. Two way gate.
- Obtuska- small town of around 600. The Leaping Lyon inn is located here. Valeska is famous here due to a outstanding performance.
- Nevesty- old town mentioned by Dakton as a possible location of the monastery
- Secalky- old town mentioned by Dakton as a possible location of the monastery
- Dietcokesville- old town mentioned by Dakton as a possible location of the monastery
- Fagorun- a village visited by Valeska, Orion, and Demona nothing found here
- Demona raised Dakton from the dead
- He filled us in on the some of the details of his past and present including some of the clues found on the scroll
- The group split up Demona, Orion, and Valeska stayed in the countryside looking for the monastery. Dakton, Findel, Yanni, and Faroxhxj teleported to Strael-Tarl to research on the Gate of Freedom and the monastery.
- Dakton gets blown to smithereens potentially by an agent of Lord Soth. Findel keeps a toe.
- Valeska gives the performance of a lifetime to the residents of Obtuska at the Leaping Lyon inn
- Valeska, Demona, and Orion find the monastery and hire some local teenagers to do the digging labor while the other half of the group returns without Dakton. It is decided later on we will have to resurrect him.
- Demona teases the local workers with her pristine body as they leave
- The monastery is full of traps and some nasty monsters
- a xorn like creature with tentacles that cause blistering and boils
- 3 invisible bat like humaniods with claws that cause persistent wounding
- Looted the 3 coffins
- We enter a hidden chamber after much searching
- A coffin in the center with a large humanoid statue in the far wall
- Inside the coffin is a body wearing a necklace with a key-looking thing attached
- A trap was set off locking us in the chamber with some sort of anti-magic field
